Speed up Record Sealing Process With Early Termination

Individuals who are otherwise eligible to seal their criminal record must complete the terms of their probation if any prior to petitioning the FDLE for a certificate of eligibility. The entire process from applying to ultimately having a record sealed in Florida is anywhere from 9 months to over a year.

Mandatory Early Termination of Probation

If you wish to speed up the record sealing process, you may want to consider Florida’s new law regarding Early Termination of Probation. Specifically, Florida Statute 948.04(4) Requires the court to grant a request to early terminate provided that certain conditions are met. Remember, having probation terminating early opens the door for you to begin the record sealing process. William is an amazing lawyer on the first day he took my case from a felony to a misdemeanor. He always answered my calls and text messages, never a problem. He was always the one in court not sending someone else, unlike my last lawyer. 10/10 would recommend. If I ever have any other problems, he will be the first person I call. Shane B.
