About William Moore

Former Criminal Prosecutors

Our veteran criminal defense lawyers have practiced criminal law in South Florida for the entirety of their career. Each of our founding members once served as Assistant State Attorney’s at the Fort Lauderdale main courthouse. We have been in a Criminal Court almost every day since the late 1990’s. Broward County Criminal Lawyer William Moore, Broward County Attorney James Weick and Fort Lauderdale DUI Lawyer William Moore are available to meet with you at any time to discuss your case. We have six offices in South Florida to serve you.

We have seen judges become elected just as we have seen members of the criminal Judiciary retire and pass the baton to young lawyers, many of whom we attended law school with. Learn how Attorney William Moore and his team has helped thousands in South Florida.

Prosecuted as a Team in the 1990s and as a Criminal Defense Team Since 2001

To say that we have an understanding of the criminal judicial process in Broward County would be an understatement. We have worked as prosecutors, public defenders and private attorneys locally throughout the course of our legal careers. Make no mistake, every jurisdiction in Florida is different with regard to practices and procedure. Rest assured knowing that you are represented by a criminal attorney who not only knows the Broward County criminal court system but who is also known by the professionals that comprise that court system. As former prosecutors in Broward County our lawyers have local experience on both sides of the adversarial system.

All of our Broward County Criminal Defense Lawyers were special unit prosecutors during the mid to late 1990′s. It was there where attorney’s Moore & Weick first co-counseled an attempted murder case in 1998. Since that time, each has focused their career primarily on defending crime types of a specific nature.

Our criminal defense lawyers each focus on defending specific criminal offenses. While all offenses involve similar basic principals, they are equally as diverse in both procedural and legal application. This is why so many South Florida State Attorneys are assigned to specific criminal divisions within their office. While our office prides itself on providing a legal team to the client, the lead role in a client’s representation is undertaken by the partner who is proficient in defending the crime type alleged.

William is an amazing lawyer on the first day he took my case from a felony to a misdemeanor. He always answered my calls and text messages, never a problem. He was always the one in court not sending someone else, unlike my last lawyer. 10/10 would recommend. If I ever have any other problems, he will be the first person I call. Shane B.
